I liked it because I'm a sap but not my fav plot in a Bosch book. Maybe if they had laid the groundwork in the last 2 books of Bosch still thinking about [redacted]

Another enjoyable Dective Bosh outing. I have read this one before, but didn't realise until I'd started it. My enjoyment wasn't impaired in any way, as it has been a few years since I would have last enjoyed reading it, or infact any book by Mr Connelly. I had forgotten how good a writer he is.

This story was only ok in comparison to another couple of his novels namely The Concrete Blonde and The Poet. Felt it dragged a little bit and only started getting better and more exciting in the second half of the book. Probably wouldn't read again but ok if you are bored.

Das fünfte Buch in der Bosch-Reihe und ich find die Bücher und Fälle immer noch gut. In diesem Band geht es um einen Fall, der bereits in einer der Staffeln der Serie vorkam, daher war ich bereits gespoilert. Meinem schlechten Gedächtnis sei dank, wusste ich aber einige der Plots nicht mehr und ein paar Sachen sind in den Büchern auch anders als in der Serie. So bleibt es spannend und es macht mir auch Spaß zu vergleichen.
Der Fall war gut, die Charakterentwicklung ebenfalls. Ich war nicht völlig gefesselt, aber ich hatte Spaß beim Lesen. Das nächste Buch der Reihe liegt schon bereit. Aber erstmal guck ich die neue Staffel der Serie durch ;)
