This book was very different from anything I have read before which made it really interesting. Cheyenne was an interesting character. I liked that her diagnosis was never specifically mentioned. I think the narrator did an amazing job of portraying the chaotic thoughts she had. There was a lot more to this than a romance. There was a heavy focus on Cheyenne as a person and everything she has gone through. The character building was excellent.

I want to preface this by first saying I don't read many non-fantasy/sci-fi books. And this book, was wow. The writing and the characters! This was a wavy-train ride and I'm here for it.

After previously reading two of Tijans other books, I decided to pick up her latest release. I love sports romances, and It was different than what I was expecting.
Cheyenne- She's such a strong and unique character with a great sprite who had it rough growing up and never really had a family in her life but always found happiness in her life despite her struggles.
Cut- He's such a sweet and understanding guy and has the most biggest heart for the people he loves. I really loved how he cared no matter the difficulty they faced together as a couple.
This book was more centered around Cheyenne and her with mental health which was not something we get to see often. I loved how she never left that stop her and how she pushed through no matter how bad her days were.I loved seeing how Cut was always there for Cheyenne even when he didn’t understand what she was going through. I love how everything was Wrapped up with them everything was well paced I loved every single second definitely a must read !!

This book is now my favorite Tijan book. It’s so massively beautiful. I think we all need a hero like Cut in our lives. I wish I could experience reading this book for the first time again. My heart goes out to all the Cheyanne’s out there and I’m so glad this story was told people it definitely was needed. In a way, I think this is a step in the right direction to de-stigmatizing mental health problems. Seriously, I have an overwhelming amount of love for this book.
