OK, so this book is so fucking horny. There is not one ounce of romance between these characters. It is straight up just lust, trauma bonding, and loyalty. And probably a splash of Stockholm syndrome.
Am I gonna keep reading the series and find out if what’s his face is still alive? Yes. I need to know who the stalker is I need to know who they head out for certain and I want to hear that Bree is OK. Honestly, I think Dallas and Bree probably have a more solid relationship than the main harem. Like quite literally all that’s to them is hotheadedness grovelling acting first and then asking for forgiveness second. they’re getting slightly better at communicating I guess but they are just so fucking horny. It’s insane. You’re gonna tell me she was just in a car accident and her best friend is the hospital under critical condition, and you’re just gonna get fingered outside the hospital? Be so for real with me right now..
Again, I’m only judging a little bit because I know this is just a smutty book/series and I am having a lot of fun with it, but would 1 ounce of actual connection be too much to ask for?
Also, I don’t really know how to explain this, and it’s such a small tiny detail that really doesn’t matter. It’s just irking me. but I don’t like how she keeps saying Cunt, it just makes everything seem so much more aggressive, which is kind of adding to the whole lack of real connection. I don’t know why I feel that way though. Just don’t know. I’m gonna finish this for the story, but I I feel like I really really would have liked this better before I was spoiled with all these great romance stories from like Emily Rath and Perry, where the characters build a genuine, heartfelt connection. Anyways, this is more a journal entry than a review so I’m gonna move on now.

I can’t really understand why I am obsessed with this series 😂 I love the plot and love the characters even if they’re doing the most mundane things. We did learn a lot more in this book about MK’s stalker and how the boys fix their relationship with her after the second book’s ending.
I feel like we learn a lot more about Madison Kate’s stalker, although it’s still pretty broad.
I thought I knew what a slow burn was until I met Archer and Madison Kate, because my God did it take them 2 entire books of 400+ pages and basically half of the third one to finally give in. It was a painful burn, but I’m here for it. I love their relationship ❤️
I feel like I’ll be in a serious book slump after finishing this series 🫠🫠

That’s it! I’m done! I’m in love with all three of them! So many emotions with this story. I’m still trying to come to terms with everything I read. I made fifteen highlights and there should have been so many more but I was that into the book that I forgot to highlight! That’s what I have. Just go read Hate! I’m on to Kate!
