3.5 ⭐️ There was so much going on in this book, but also hundreds of pages of nothing, at the same time.

Overall the story was good! It was adventurous, a little problem solving, a little risk it for the wardstone biscuit. A couple spicy scenes! It was good. But also that’s the problem. It was just, good.

The whole time I was reading, I was thinking:
Am I invested?
Do I love this?
There’s so much information!
I don’t think I really even like xaden anymore

Truly, my thoughts are all over the place. This book was very predictable at times and I’m not sure it warrants my preorder of Onyx Storm that I placed back in July… there I said it.
