I had to give it a 4. I was utterly enjoying this book. Book about life, about death, about love, about friendship and with a splash of phylosophy... It was really my cup of tea. But that ending though. That was a mess. Abrupt. Sudden. Unfulfilling. It really ruined the whole experience to me. I need it to end somehow. I need it complete.

The prose has a rhythm and the story ebbs and flows gently. I felt that it carried me along. There is no hook, little drama. It felt true. I was happy it was short and then sorry that it had ended.

I listened to the audiobook and I kind of wish I had read it instead. I sometimes drift off with audiobooks and there are so many different vignettes within this book that sometimes I would lose track of who we're talking about. But generally it was enjoyable for the musings about all the big and little things that make up life.
