Wish I read this colser to the first volume, but still really enjoyed it. Its just a really fun series and love the characters.
I was always less invested in the flashbacks at the Cloud Recesses.
Also sometimes this art has characters eyes not looking in quite the same direction. Also with the eyes, sometimes they are drawn to look incredibly glassy and glazed over. I find it very distracting

I'm really glad I watched the show first because there is a LOT more skipping over things/glossing over things that I would honestly be so confused about without the background knowledge. Worth it for how freakin cute they are though!!
