Really enjoyed this unique love story.
I think the math aspect of this book scared me a little. But even if you’ve got math issues too, don’t let it discourage you from reading this.
Dr Meg Brightwood has spent most of her life trying to solve a problem nicknamed The Impossible Theorum. She grew up gifted but her father’s love was tied to her success and she never had many friends.
To make matters harder, she also deals with panic attacks.
In her early twenties she ran from her job as a college professor to her grandmother’s doorstep and has been there ever since. Now her grandmother has died and Meg is adrift. She’s now in her late 30’s and isn’t sure what she has to show for her life’s work.
She goes back to the drawing board and winds up solving the theorem. But when she goes to present she has another panic attack and runs back home.
She is amazed to run into Isaac. She hasn’t seen him in over a decade. She was the love of her life and also the one she never got a chance with.
This time, Meg and Isaac have a chance but they have huge obstacles in their path. First, both are very critical of themselves. Second, Isaac is literally a wanted man.
When Meg’s theorem is stolen, she has to decide what is worth fighting for and how to do it.
I liked Meg and Isaac. They are both so fragile and vulnerable.

I started this book, expecting a lighthearted, math romcom, and fell headfirst into a book about personal struggles, supporting each other through them, and a lot of math.
Moderate: Mental illness and Panic attacks/disorders

This book was amazing. It was a beautiful book to show maths and romance in one it explained complex romance and complex theories at the same time it was emotional and interesting to read I did this as an audiobook and the voices made the story that much more addictive to read
