It's a pretty good biography of the grand dame of fashion, Anna Wintour. She's a interesting woman with a reputation of being icy, blunt and to the point. I liked reading about her and her reaction to the movie "The Devil Wears Prada" and also to hear what people had to say who worked closely with her.

Although, I don’t remember ever really reading an issue of vogue magazine, we all know the influence it has had on fashion and even pop culture. It was interesting to learn more about Anna, because she has always seemed pretty private.
Super interesting look into Anna’s life and work from a nice but perhaps asskissing perspective. Maybe it’s a more fair view of how and why Anna has the reputation she does and it’s a hopeful take. Powerful women are so routinely vilified that I liked reading this perspective. Worth the read but not award winning or revealing.
I enjoyed this biography on one of fashions most recognizable and known individuals. It was very interesting to read her upbringing and how she got to far in her career.
The biography was also critical and not to bias which I enjoyed as well, because some of Anna’s decisions were questionable. Good read for fashion lovers!

Odell did a great job of exposing, in a sense, the privilege and entitlement that Anna Wintour has lived through. However, I was expecting a lot more new material, rather than stories I’ve already heard. It may be more enjoyable for someone who does not know much about Wintour, as it’s a long and tedious read.
