Without the excellent ending I am not sure I would have given this a 4. The writing is great I just wasn't too invested in the characters and thought it a little fluffy.

Really enjoyed this. My first after hearing so many good things about Hamnet. Liked the narrative flitting back and forth though it was disorienting at the end as the events get closer. Would read more of her stuff.
