This was so much more than a romance book between 2 characters. This was a story of growth, a story about that tells us the path to a happy ever after is not always a straight and easy one.

The characters in this book are so nuanced and even when I shouldn’t be rooting for them I’m able to see where they’re coming from.

I’m not the biggest fan of a love triangle but let me tell you!! THIS was worth the read. I just wanna see these characters grow in the next book and see them find the love that is RIGHT for them. No compromises, no restraints, no FEARS.

Kennedy!!! You’ve got my attention, and I’m kicking myself that it took me this long to get into Kennedy Ryan’s writing because I love it here and never wanna leave!!!

we all know I’m a big love triangle girlie. This one was hard for me to get into, and I think it’s because it’s written in the third person. I really had trouble connecting with the characters because there was little insight to how the characters were feeling. I really felt the majority of the angst was missing because of this.

The whole derailment of the budding chemistry of one of the men based on miscommunication/poor assumptions on the FMC’s part really threw me. After that point, the FMC became thoroughly annoying.

I felt the plot twists were very abrupt and the one really felt irrelevant considering the story just brushed over it like it never happened after the fact.

I bought the paperbacks, so I will continue with the second book but if I already didn’t own it, I likely wouldn’t continue.
