i forgot that this is about addie's grandma tbh. i wasn't expecting this book to be sad (and at the same time sweet) also! i wish gigi and ronaldo got to be together in public because it sucks that their story ended that way. but i do love the bonus chapter as they're finally together, even if it's in the after life.
i was hoping we'll get to see the events that took place before she died. a bit disappointed that there wasn't any but i do like that it ended with them being happy together. it kind of takes away their tragic ending.
also, i hate that i had to go back and skim haunting adeline because i completely forgot what happened to everyone since i read that ages ago. it took me awhile to refresh my memory.
this is still a good read though even if i was expecting it to be a little bit more unhinged and mafia-y. at least we finally get to read gigi's book!
