Accidental Abduction by Eve Langlais is a new Sci Fi/Alien Romance series by one of my favorite authors. I've read quite a lot of Paranormal shape shifting series so when I saw this book I just had to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed and do like how Tren's "gift" at the end of the book to Megan gave her the ability for payback to a former boyfriend. It's totally worth 4.6 stars that I'm giving it.

Wendy should've listened to her misgivings about her boyfriend who seems to good to be true especially when he hip checked her right overboard into the churning sea. Want to bet Cameron had taken out a $1 million dollar life insurance policy that he couldn't wait to collect on? But when a bright light sucks her and a lot of aquatic sea life into a alien space ship little does she know that Tren and his purple hotness will soon become a very sexy alien. I wish that we could have the healing chamber that mended her injuries. But will they be able to make it last especially since they seems to banter back and forth with snarky comments?

Tren used to be a mercenary but now wrangles rare species to sell in galaxies who need these lovely delicacies. But when he finds that his recent haul from Earth has a female in the net his first thought is how much can he auction her off for. But when she surprises him with her attitude and willingness to stand by Tren's side fighting off rebel attackers and her snarky quips he soon starts to change his mind. When he meets his estranged brother who'll soon change his attitude and join Megan who's going to rescue Tren with or without him.

Great book and I hope that the second book is just a good as Alien Abduction.

Accidental Abduction is book one in the Alien Abduction by Eve Langlais. Such a fun start to the series. This book is fun, light-hearted, sexy and full of laughs.

Megan finds herself abandoned in the middle of the ocean, because her boyfriend decided to get rid of her. Just as she thinks she’s going to drown, she’s picked up and deposited in a space ship. I liked Megan. She didn’t go into hysterics like most women in these stories do. She stayed calm.

Tren is a space pirate and retired merc. He’s a sexy purple alien who ends up with a human he want’s nothing to do with. He’s going to sell her first chance until he decides to keep her. I liked Tren. He lives his life to the mercenary code book and he can’t understand how one human women gets under his skin.

How Megan and Tren meet is funny and I enjoyed the banter between them. Theirs a little danger and subterfuge that kept things moving along too. These two fight the attraction, but in the end succumb. The banter references a lot of pop culture that goes over the big purple aliens head. It’s so funny! I liked how she antagonizes him and how he teases her back.

This was a fun and enjoyable story. There isn’t a lot of depth which is ok with me. It’s funny and full of romance. I enjoyed this so much that I went out and picked up book 3. I’m skipping 2 for now; because it didn’t interest me. I like my women human and my aliens hot and sexy.

Kind of an interesting read. I'll be reading book 2 to see how it goes.

A little more of a sense of humor than some of these "alien abducts woman" books have; the heroine has a genuine mouth on her and kind of goes along with the zaniness. A few too many derogatory mentions of other women - "skinny bitches" etc. - but otherwise pretty fun and easy to read.
