i read this as a teenager and am on a nostalgic re-read of the series. this book is very different than i remember it being, and to be honest i'm surprised it didn't give me an eating disorder as a teenager. i can see what wilson was trying to do with the descriptions of disordered eating and the use of
Zoe
to illustrate the dangers of eating disorders, but the resolution is a bit simplistic and most of the book could be quite triggering.
