Cooper is an English Lit professor who keeps failing at relationships. When his girlfriend gives him an ultimatum, he can't promise to give her what she needs, and she ends things. Now he's stuck explaining yet another failed relationship to his whole family on a luxury yacht for his brother's wedding.
He never imagined that the trip would change everything. But a drunken kiss leads him to question everything... and turn his life upside down.
This was a good one! I liked Coop, even if he made me roll my eyes a few times. He's so caught up in what everyone expects him to be, and when the kiss with Ricky changes everything, he's completely thrown. I really liked Ricky too. Although he did annoy me sometimes. But I really liked their story. Their relationship was a bit of a slow burn while Cooper figured everything out. I liked that they communicated pretty well and that they were honest with each other for the most part. I loved the other characters too. They definitely added to the story. I think it was fun, but also had some good feels. I liked Cooper's relationship with his ex too. They were able to stay friends, and it was cool to see them become so close in a new way. The story felt authentic and real. It was also a quick read, and I finished it in one night.
