Rampant paranoia, conspiracy theories, and after just 3 books a simple pattern emerges, I do not really like.
Also the final twist after the first end, while well integrated, sews the problems up too neat, I would have liked to end the book without it.
That way it would have been a quite different ending and set a strong example why I do not like neither vigilantes nor vigilante killings.
Romance got worse, could have done without it. Too much background family/romance, should have cut that, the book would read better without it.
Still recommended, as a fast page-turner, but as I bought it, I think the ebooks are way too expensive. A cheap 1-5 Omnibus-Edition as is available as a paperback would be nice.

UGH! I was trucking along, really enjoying the story, and then the last 2 or 3 chapters hit. And they were lame. It was almost as if the author was typing and realized she needed to get to the grocery store before it closed, so she decided to end the book and call it a day. Terrible ending!

Still, I will read the others in this series because I liked the characters and the story, until the very end.

I must admit it took me quite a while to get through this book but I just haven't had a want to read lately - must work on that!

Anyway - this book, like the previous two books I've read was very, very enjoyable. I really liked the plot and characters involved although I do have two quams.

1) I don't know if it was just my ebook version or if it was the way the book was written, but the scenes jumped so randomly and quickly in places that it disturbed the flow of my reading

2) The whole book seemed to have a highly anti-climatic ending.

The whole personal relationship side of the book irked on me slightly but I really did enjoy it
