I really enjoyed this (especially since I could imagine Jude law lol) but thought it was a bit slow paced at times

loved this - i feel like i write that about every book on here but there can never be too much love, can there? i do think i personally might have structured this different, i thought there would be more of a focus on the events before the... uh... thing happens but i see how its more of a thriller this way with the constant sense of stress.
in the foreword of the edition i read some scholar made an argument that tom is in no way queer, he's just that spooky and strange but idk, surely I'm not alone in thinking that there's a LOT of internalized homophobia going on here (and with that also rampant misogyny)
anyway are the sequels any good?
