Tldr; Dani and Jameson are great, this is some of the better smut I’ve read, and I look forward to a sequel. :)

I loved the premise but I think that I had some difficulties with the book.
Starting with,
supposing all the uncles and aunts even had kids, then there is no way Jameson would be high in the hierarchy of royals.

Otherwise, I found that the pacing was off. There was a lot of time spent on certain moments,
like them dealing with the fact that she has to wear lotion or her talking about Black hair
. I would have preferred if I got a stronger wrap up at the end and more of a sense of why these two made sense together.

But it was a fun book to read. I listened to Megan Thee Stallion's music while reading it. Just a great, smutty fluffy read.

In this steamy romance. When Prince Jameson and the royal family need a bit of an image clean up in fear of the monarchy’s disbandment; A benefits concert is held in honor of Jameson’s recently departed grandfather. After being invited to the concert a mix up ends up having American rapper Dani “Duchess” Nelson staying at Jameson’s home. They are in for more than they bargained for in more ways than one but perhaps that’s a good thing

I'm sucker for a royal read especially one where the prince falls for a commoner. Which is exactly what happens between Prince Jameson and Dani aka Duchess, an American rapper and business woman. I absolutely loved watching their relationship progress, especially the dates that Jameson planned for Dani, they were so sweet and special.

I also loved these characters individually. Dani was so driven and I admired her business savvy and tenacity. I appreciated Jameson's humility and desire to make more of himself as an individual than his other royal individuals.

I'm all for a book with steam, but at some points was a little over the top for me. I'm not a huge fan of dirty talk in steamy scenes and there was A LOT throughout the book. I also didn't like how their intimate moments were randomly mentioned in scenes where it wasn't needed. Like they'd be having a completely normal conversation and then it be "oh and this happened last night."

Overall I really enjoyed this read and highly recommend it if you love royal reads!
