As with many anthologies, Strange Adventures is somewhat of a mixed bag. While there are a few great stories herein, sadly I found that the great was far outweighed by the poor.

I dug this collection quite a bit. I'm used to Vertigo's quarterly anthology series and this shares similar aesthetics: experimental writing, a wide variety of art and lettering styles, brief punchy tales with minimal setup and tear down. The good news here is the sci fi / horror umbrella of this collection ties things together nicely. Definitely worth a look.
