I cannot even begin to express how giddy this volume made me 🥰🥹 A delightful (but also emotional) next chapter in Meeks’s story!

Lol scoot over Meeko. I'm also in love with Matsunaga-san.

This feels like a very basic shoujo with outlandish situations and Matsunaga always seems to find ways to appear shirtless. Meeko is an adorable awkward blushing mess and Matsunaga is a grumpy protective cutie. I like that the other housemates are more involved in this volume. I find them to be an interesting cast of characters and I hope we can get even more from them in the future. I especially like the sister relationship Asako and Meeko are forming and I hope there are more situations with the two of them.

My favorite part of this volume would have to be the friendship created among the share-house. The way they were able to form such a bond, light-hearted and tight-knit, despite their differences in age (Miko's especially) was heartwarming to watch. While Matsunaga (in our perspective) acts like a mother hen to Miko, I could see why she would mistake this caring side of his for something romantic, because this man really took caring for her to the next level. While I could see some part of their compatibility, I like that the author hadn't made the atmosphere between the two as 'creepy' or 'gross.' So far, everything's wholesome and funny, and I hope it stays that way until Miko (at least) graduates from high school and "teenhood"

This volume was kinda slow and I didn’t quite enjoy it as much as the first one
Also there’s a 10 year age gap…
