Tis pretty funky, and has an element of magic. I feel as if there's a historical context that I personally am missing. Was cool though, not problematic that I noticed.

“The hope of getting my beautiful fields back again; the hope of putting the strangers out of my house.”
was a very quick read and an interesting take on irish nationalism and how cathleen represents ireland itself. uhh symbolism!!!! there’s not really a whole lot to discuss here since the show is so straight forward with its symbolism and metaphors but i enjoyed it.

és curteta, però molt guay. la old woman recrea a ireland, que porta amb orgull als joves que han lluitat per ella i que incita a michael a convertirse en un amant d ireland per a combatre l'enemic.
les 4 porcions d terra son les 4 parts d ireland i ella sols vol recuperar el seu territori, la seua casa, que esta sagnant per culpa de l'invasor.
"i did not [see an old woman going down the path], but I saw a young girl, and she had the walk of a queen". Convertint-se en reina i jove quan aconsegueix q michael s'unisca a la batalla
btw mencionar tb que peter (el pare) està molt obsessionat amb els diners i que bridget i michael sí creuen en més coses més allà de les monedes i les fortunes
molt guay la reencarnació d ireland i conèixer una llegenda irlandesa ✨
