This book has been on my physical TBR for almost 2 years and I finally read it! You know when you’re waiting to read a book because you just know you’re going to love it and you want to savor it? Yeah, that was me with this book. This was SO GOOD and I’m actually glad that I waited until now to read it, because I don’t know that I would have appreciated it as much 2 years ago. The narration for this audiobook is also *chef’s kiss* so props to the narrator!

This was cute! Kind of dragged for me at certain points but it was fluffy and adorable and just what I needed.

One of the best books I’ve ever read- excellent plot twists, charming setting, strong characters, incredible main characters with amazing witty banter, LGBT+ representation (supporting characters), iconic Bestiehood, insightful, inspiring, heartbreaking, and hopeful all at once!

A lovely romance…
seems it could have started with a dare, “bet you can’t write a romance where one of the main characters dies at the beginning”…I thought I had it figured out, but was afraid it might be like the movie, Last Christmas.

A 4 star read simply for giving me the ending I’d hoped for, and the ending the characters deserved. The characters are well developed, diverse, relatable and lovable. The book covers romantic love, platonic love and family love. A cheesy romance for a couple laughs, a couple of tears, even a few twists and a whole heap of love.

Okay this was delightfully weird. Kooky without being corny. Although the author kind of implies that SHE thinks it’s corny, I didn’t think so. There are so, so many romance books out there that get so corny I completely lose my disbelief and can’t wait for it to be over. This one wasn’t that way. In a world where a main character can see ghosts, I think you have some leeway with what those characters can do and how they can interact because the normal rules are gone.  Anyway, it was fun, the romance felt real, the pay off at the end was a big happy sigh. I did feel like it had multiple ending syndrome but… I didn’t mind. It was nice to see the story keep going.

exactly what I wanted to read/had been looking for. I love how it talks and deals with death and grief. Even though death is tragic, sad and permanent it does not have to be. The things/people we lose remain with us in multiple ways! Also, hot steamy sex 🥵
