It took me a bit to find my rhythm with this book but once I found it this book became something new. It was an interesting concept to weave together generations of stories all around a house nestled in the woods. I find that I enjoyed the stories being told through different mediums like letters, poems, notes, and more and appreciate how we get some closure for each of them but there’s a lot left unsaid and unresolved. I don’t know why, but I find it satisfying.

The imagery in this book was incredible, too.
