this book was CRAZY!!!! I couldn’t stop listening and i just wanted to know constantly what was next. so many twists and even though my initial hunch was correct in the end, i kept changing my mind the whole way through the book. i definitely recommend this

I figured out the ending very early on, but the journey to get there wasn't entirely expected. 4.25.

In the beginning, there were moments where the story quickly jumped back and forth between past and present with no immediately clear distinction between the two that I did end up getting confused. One particular instance was ending a chapter mid-action in present time only to have the next chapter jump back to the past. It threw off the pacing for me.

As time went on, the jumps between past/present were still there, but they blended in a lot smoother.

Otherwise I enjoyed the spooky vibes. It's a very real and terrible thing that could happen to anyone and that's why I feel it works.
