Enjoyed the first in this series more, but still a great read.
I won this book through a Goodreads giveaway. I’m sad it took me so long to get around to reading it. It is just as amazing as the first book. Highly recommend for it’s perspective on history and relationships - creating new family when yours is gone or not around.
So good! I wish there were more in the series! Fantastic characters.
This book picks up right where the first one ends. It's just as great as the first book. The author writes Ada's inner voice so well, and I loved seeing her growth and development as she deals with her past trauma. This book also gives so many pictures of what everyday life was like during WWII. This book might be sadder than the first, but it still has the same uplifting, heartwarming message.
I really liked both of these books. The characters are so unique! I think the first book was slightly more intriguing, but because I found the characters so endearing I felt the need to read the second on as well.

This was most excellent, as a sequel and as a stand-alone book. Good characters, good themes, and a good story.
