And so Jack's tale begins. I didn't dislike Jack in the Fables series but I didn't particularily like him either. I am surprised that he was picked for his own spinoff. Anyway, I did enjoy this book and am intrigued by Revise and the Page sisters.

I was surprised by this side story. I thought it would be lame, but in typical Fables fashion, it delivers a great story with a bad villian and the **spoiler** reintroduction of Goldilocks!! I wonder where Blue beard is?

I did not think I would like this one that much, because I don’t really like Jack but man I was wrong. He’s still a brash, arrogant, jerkhole womaniser but he’s funny in a fourth-wall breaking type way. I loved the nonsense heist and I thought it was a really great way to set up the story, looking forward to the next one.
