I found some of this book painfully relatable, and some was completely out of my reach, but Dolly Alderton is a great writer. It’s always hard to read a memoir without it seeming a bit self-indulgent and finding the writer’s constant introspection tiring, but a lot of parts read like a novel and it makes it easier to swallow. The last chapter was a bit twee, but overall it’s very good and interesting enough for someone so young to write a memoir.

A must read. Dolly captivates you from the moment you begin reading. It’s hard to put down. I love the nostalgia in this book and I love how friendships are integral to the narrative. It’s honest and hits you in the feels about life’s greatest questions when navigating the world. Thankyou Dolly!
