I picked up the book thinking it would be a kooky/strange murder mystery and completed it like that meme of the guy with the string trying to piece clues together (Always Sunny Philadelphia).
The book ended and I still had no clue what was going on? Reminded me of Yoko Ogowa, but more confusing (also I don’t particularly love Yoko Ogowa as it’s already too symbolic for me).
I get that it’s kind of a dream and not meant to make sense, but I sort of wanted something to.
It was short though so I finished in a day, and it wasn’t boring as I had to really concentrate? Will Google to see what this book was actually about.

This was an extremely dream-like, confusing book. There were multiple perspectives but I felt it did center mainly around Ayami, it seems she was the cornerstone.
There are so many unanswered questions. I enjoyed the consistent use of parallels and repetition of singular profound descriptions because it made me question a Deja vu, as if I was in a dream myself.
I recommend for people who like reflective fiction.

Too much fever. Not enough dream.

Did I read this book or did I have a fever dream? We may never know.
