What an interesting concept! I’m really excited to learn more about this world and Kit and her abilities. I’m still trying to decide which guy I like the best. The twist near the end where her adoptive dad was the head of the omega agency was absolutely the best

Just too clichée. I've read this story so many times already and I have seen every element done better somewhere else before.
Especially the bad guys and everything involving them couldn't be more twodimensional and stereotypical.
The book gets worse and worse towards the climax. Events become more and more unbelievable. Power levels are constantly being changed to fit the author's whims when she needs to craft the next scene. Everything we learned previously about the abilities and skill levels of characters all flies out the window and becomes entirely arbitrary not to mention random plot-convenient stupidity everywhere. You probably recognize the pattern.
It's lazily written, unoriginal and shallow.

This turned out to be really fast paced and quite entertaining. You have secret agents, an internationally renowned thief, and a nefarious lab hidden by an unnamed powerful organization. At first, it wasn't clear if this was going to be a superhero or a supernatural story but things are looking to be trending more to the supernatural. You start out not really getting why she was thieving when she didn't really need to and as the story unfolds you get the wow I hope she gets them for more vibe going on. This is also an adult RH, even though the story starts shortly before she turns 19 it's not at all a YA.

Amazing
It’s been a while since I read this book and I forgot how utterly amazing it is! So many twists and turns that you never know quite what’s coming! Love the dynamic between everyone and I know it just gets better. Tate James is one hell of an author and I swear has magic control over her words - not a single book ever disappoints.

Soft DNFing. This is a lot slower than I thought it would be, but I do plan on coming back to it eventually
