This book is still as relevant today as it was in 1818, if not more so. I can't believe it's taken me so long to read it, but now that I have, I will probably never watch another film adaptation again.

I just don’t think I’m smart enough for this book LOL

Though I general love a classic, I just could not get into this one! I was so excited for it too! I’d heard great things and thought it would be such a fun October read, but I did not enjoy it as much as others.

I decided to DNF this particular version simply because I discovered this to be the heavily edited 1831 version, and I would rather read the original 1818 version.

That said, I was enjoying it up to that discovery and as such will be purchasing and reading a copy of the 1818 text at some point in the future.

Written absolutely beautifully. 
V. Frankenstein can eat dirt as far as I'm concerned.
