I love that there were no spoilers for the last quarter of the book, it took me by complete surprise and I loved it. I was starting to wonder what more trouble this poor girl could get herself in without it being overkill so I love where the series is headed with this new plot-line.

The mexican memory loss craziness of the majority of the book was thrilling and I loved getting Dante back in the picture. It had been awhile since I last read the other books so I was drawing blanks right along side Mona Lisa, which was fun. But if you want the effect of knowing when she doesn't, you may want a refresher.

Great job Sunny, as always :)

Felt like two books in one. The last part of the book felt like a totally separate idea. I wish she would have just made that part a completely separate book and wrapped up the story in the first part a little better. I was just left so unsatisfied with the ending of this book. I hope this is not the end of this series because it was not wrapped up very well.

*Contains MINOR Spoilers for the previous books in the series.

It had a been a long while since I read the last Monere book and even though I was really looking forward to Mona Lisa Eclipsing, I had no idea how much I missed this world until I finally got to read it. When I did though, I got on such a wild ride with Mona Lisa and her men, that I didn’t want it to end!

As with every book in the Monere series a LOT happens in Mona Lisa Eclipsing and what is described on the blurb is nothing but the tip of the iceberg. I’ll do my best to not spoil anything.

Mona Lisa Eclipsing starts off not long after the events in Mona Lisa Darkening and it has been 6 months since Mona Lisa went from being a nurse in Manhattan that believed something was very wrong with her, to being a powerful Queen of the Monere with a lot of friends and at least 5 men she loves and can call her own.

Mona Lisa is part of the Monere, Children of The Moon, a race descendant to aliens that once came to earth from the Moon and have been living amongst human for longer than time has been counted. Her mixed blood has not stopped her from having that something extra that marks her as a Monere Queen and ever since her life changed, she has been building her new life and reign the best way she can.

In Mona Lisa Craving {Book #5 in the series}, we met Dante, who is the warrior son of a healer, cursed by the high priestess to endure a never-ending cycle of life and death, born and reborn into an ever-diminishing bloodline. Against all odds he and Mona Lisa fell in love, but after a series of awful events, Mona Lisa ended up sending Dante away. After the Hellish events of Mona Lisa Darkening, in this new book Mona Lisa has decided she made a mistake and went after Dante in the last place he had been spotted, Cozumel, Mexico and that’s where everything went to hell in a hand basket.

Sexy Half-Monere drug dealers, Wild Monere shifters with their crazy Queen, Amnesia and a surprise turn of events that will turn Mona Lisa’s world upside down, again! All that makes Mona Lisa Eclipsing a book full of adventures, sexiness and emotions and twists that I, as a huge fan of this series, have been waiting a long time for.

If I have one complaint about Mona Lisa Eclipsing, it was that at times I felt Mona Lisa was taking some situations pretty easily, like with her amnesia and finding out about the Monere all over again. It can be me just being picky, because I know that if she had been whining and fighting it all the way through, I know I would have complained about that too. One other thing was that I felt the timing for her memory to resurface was sort of weird, not bad, just slightly odd.

All in all, Mona Lisa Eclipsing is a great addition to this awesome and sexy series and I recommend to all the Monere fans out there. If you are a Paranoemal Romance fan and haven’t read Sunny’s book yet, I don’t know what you’re waiting for!

Well there was no neat little bow to wrap everything up, since that doesn't seem to be the last book in the series, although there seem to be no plans by the author to write any more books.

Mona Lisa is on a trip to get Dante back home but instead gets amnesia and forgets her whole life after learning about her heritage. Dante comes to the rescue, gets tortured a lot and they get to know and fall in love with one another all over again.

When she finally gets her memory back a new crisis erupts and she ends up the new ambassador between the humans and the newly discovered Monère.

If there ever is a next book I'm curious to see how things turn out after the end of this one and how everyone's dealing with the world changing revelations.
