Okay, I LOVED all the twists, they kept me guessing. But I had such high hopes for this book.

I loved the beginning, then more in the middle I’m was like “Autumn, come on, use your brain.” But it left me wanting to know what the truth was behind this secret job with this monstrous salary. I did enjoy the characters and their development.

Autumn/Lark just got on my nerves. I kept thinking if you’re that worried about safety why are you telling everyone you don’t think you can trust?

The ending just left me confused, it made no sense. I was just waiting for that final twist to leave me with my jaw on the floor.

This had at least a 4-star rating until the end. I really didn’t care for the “everything is fine” ending. Does that make me a psycho? Eh, maybe. But when you tell me it’s billed as a psychological thriller, I would at least hope for a real thrill.

This was recommend to be by Mel from Melanie’s Reads as I was in a little reading slump and I devoured it. Hooked. I could not guess what this dream job could be at all and the guesses I did make were so far from wrong. Gripping. Tense. Mysterious. Kept me guessing until the end. If I was Lark I wouldn’t have stuck around long enough to find out what the job was regardless of the very generous pay. A brilliant ending.

Short chapters and a new author for me to now devour. Very impressed. Highly recommend. A well deserved four stars from me.

Twisty, keeps you guessing. Reminiscent of the movie Clue, if you've seen it.

Another ‘okay’ story. (I think it’s time for a small break from this author.)

What a great book that I stumbled upon. I am not sure I would have been as brave to go on such a job interview. Great twists.

Another thriller from Kiersten that throws you for a loop. I don't understand how she does it. But I swear every single one of her books get better and better. I am absolutely loving the new ones that she is writing. This one had me hooked from the beginning, had me on the edge of my seat until the shocking moment where I was almost ready to throw my kindle. I was then reading as fast as I could to see what happens.
Autumn is going for a job interview. The thing about this interview is she really doesn't know anything about the company. No information is giving to her. She is in need of a good job with good money to take care of her mom who has cancer. A couple of weeks after the interview she hears back and is moving on to the next step. But that requires her to go away for a week. Odd, yep you said it. This is where things get really interesting. And let me tell you Kiersten writes the storyline so that you are turning every single page as fast as you can wanting to know what is going to happen next with Autumn. While she is on this second part of her interview, she is "Lark" and is with the other people that are also being interviewed. But she still really doesn't know much about the job or the company she would be working for. All she knows is that odd things are going on around her and she might or might not be in danger.
This was an absolute thrilling, intriguing, suspenseful, mind blowing page turning book I could not put down. I loved Autumn's character. She was strong, stubborn, wanted answers no matter what and would do anything to find out what exactly was going on. She didn't just bury her head and go on with her day. She was a fighting.
Kiersten wrote another amazing thriller. Highly recommend reading this one. Cant wait to read more.
