Another excellent Slough House book from the master of spy thrillers. Twists and turns, drama - it has it all. A bit more liberal with death which marks it out a little bit from its predecessors, taking me slightly out of the realistic setting. Very very enjoyable nonetheless.

River sincerely telling Taverner to pull the plug on Spider as his alibi for visiting her is truly the funniest thing he’s ever done
