Exquisite writing. I laughed and cried and marveled my way through this book.

I loved this book. There's really not much else I can say, because I only finished it this morning and I'm still speechless. It's going on the favorites shelf.

A really fun mystery set in Zephyr Alabama. The characters we meet are endearing and quirky, and the nostalgia of childhood reverberates throughout. From the grandparents, to the glass sisters, to the Lady, to Old Moses, and back, this expansive story builds a world where we laugh and play and mourn and grow up too quickly. Deals with some big life topics and would recommend.

Everything I hate in a book was in this book. However, I really loved it. Great reader. Great story, I was transported to Zephyr while listening this book. Why not a 5 star? It got a little weird in a few sections of the book. “The lady” interaction.
