I've been listening to Tim Ferriss' podcast since its first episode. I'm a fan of Ferriss', not because I agree with everything he say (I don't), but because he always makes me question the norms and really think about what I want out of a situation. I mention his podcast because this book is an encyclopedia of the knowledge shared on his podcast, a Cliff's Notes version of the 200+ episodes with some of the most interesting minds of our times.
My first read-through of this book took only a few days because I've listened to the podcast faithfully. But I can tell you that this book is one that will be on my nightstand for years to come, a reference book for when I need to get out of a creative funk, when I need to create a new habit, or when I need to up my training or performance. This is the book I was longing for as I was listening to the podcast while in the car, on a run, or cleaning the house - an easy reference and how-to guide to get the results I want in my life. I cannot recommend this book enough!!

This was just okay. Basically a compendium of advice from different professionals from sports to business to art and military.
I didn’t cross-check, but it certainly felt like at least 50% of the content was repurposed from 4 Hour Workweek and Tribe of Mentors.
Some good advice here and there but I would definitely say it was the weakest and least focused of the Tim Ferriss books I’ve read.

As the other books from the same author, this one is full of hits and misses. Ferris has a hard time editing books in concise formats and this one ends up penalizing the good parts by making them buried in lots of pages of questionable quality.
In the Health part, for instance, one can find valuable exercise information intercalated with random “rich people gadgets and habits” like use cold capsules, 5 meters swimming pools and etc...

Sometimes it's just Tim full of himself, but there are gems there.
My review is biased because I love biohacking and Tim Ferriss compilations.
Actually an enjoyable read. I am trying to refrain from peppering family and friends with my favorite quotes.
Wonderful little nuggets of wisdom from inspiring people. Interesting stories, actionable advice.
