Excellent advice, routines, products, systems, etc. from the best of the best. I will reread this every 1-3 years.

Mixed bag

I got a few new ideas and concepts from its book and had many more concepts I already knew reinforced. I also enjoyed when Tim Ferris inserted his own thoughts and practices The book is definitely worth reading. My criticism is that I feel many of the people written about could have been left out as they didn't really add any valuable insight. Some seemed to be added because Tim Ferris wanted to show he knew people across a range of professions or he didn't want to offend someone he might want to invite on his podcast again. While there are many good things to take from the book there were to many people that added very little and made the book longer than it needed to be.

I have very mixed feelings about Tim Ferriss and his work, and this book is no exception. While it is easy to read and does contain good advice, I didn't really feel that any of the advice is groundbreaking - it's just that the people giving it have had the intestinal fortitude to actually use this advice while most people would just rather not expend the effort. So, yes, this is an informational and inspiring book, and many of the people profiled have interesting stories.
However, as much as I have to admit that I've learned about some cool stuff from Ferriss (in particular, Tim Kreider) something about him sets my teeth on edge - I think it is the endless, all-consuming obsession with himself that takes away from the message he is trying to get out there. Having a specific schedule of when and which psychedelic drugs to take, mainly just because he can, takes the narcissism too far.

Excellent resource for lots of bits of advice and wisdom, culled from Tim Ferriss' podcast. I want to get my own copy for myself as it is something you could refer back to for inspiration time and again.

The verdict is still out? Good. But decidedly odd: It's like the point of the book is not to be read, but to send you off on Internet searches.

Filled with timeless wisdom

No other book collects a wide range of perspectives like a Tim Ferris book. This book is a gateway to so many other resources like books, apps, and movie. It is a toolbox for life!

Some useful things, not all sections are particularly good.

Tim Ferriss is a really "bro" guy, but I enjoyed hearing all of the different perspectives, opinions, most recommended books, documentaries, etc. As others have mentioned, some perspectives and interviews are more interesting than others, but all and all, I ended up really enjoying it. There is a vast array of life experience and viewpoints from very successful, fascinating people. I listened to the Audible version, but also purchased the DTB version because I foresee myself wanting to look through it again.

Infinitely re-readable. I admire the work that's gone into creating the podcast, setting up the interviews, discerning the best questions to coordinate meaningful conversations, and then bundling it up in a book for easy reference.

Really different and really awesome. I laughed, I cried, I was inspired.
