Tom Felton

I’m not usually a celebrity memoir person, but I really enjoyed this book. Difficult in some areas, definitely entertaining, but wonderful message in the end.

I felt that Tom Felton took an interesting approach in this book. Seeing his approach to fame was a breath of fresh air for someone who grew up in the public eye. He admits he does not know what severe fame is like and how he did not take the brunt of the public eye after "Harry Potter." I liked how he credited those he met during and before his Harry Potter days and those who helped him stay grounded. While I feel this book was not necessarily sequential, I did find the book easy to follow, raising awareness of things that matter to him. Tom Felton may only be in his 30s, but he has many stories to tell.

I never realized that while we see Draco Malfoy as an essential character and one frequently in the series, Tom Felton lived a fairly large life outside of Harry Potter, thanks to not being a main character with frequent filming times. Although we see and beloved Draco, realistically, his screen time is much lower than us fans think, and Felton plays on this idea.

Just simply delightful

This was darling. Lots of cute anecdotes about growing up in the Harry Potter world, surrounded by incredible actors and general adolescent drama. Tom Felton manages to seem relatable, down-to-earth, grateful, humble, and deeply funny. I want to have a cup of tea with him.

I am very glad that I could experience the fullness of the book with an audiobook read by Tom himself. It was a magical adventure that completely satisfied the little potterhead in me

It was very well written and a good read. I'm just not that into Harry Potter and it wasn't my cup of tea. It was refreshing to read about his childhood and how happy it was, and that makes me very happy. Part of me wonders if I'd have liked the audiobook more, but I don't know if I'll get around to it.
