I listened to the audiobook version of this book and I think it was definitely the love. Tom Felton is a lovely narrator and I enjoy listening to his story.
I appreciated his candour in talking about the joys and pains of his line of work. I also appreciated his honesty with regards to his struggles. It was delightful to hear his escapades from the various sets he’s been on and the stories from the friends and connections he’s made along the way.
If you’d like a quick autobiographical read I’d definitely recommend this one!

This is everything you want in a memoir; secrets exposed, vulnerability, and emotion. Learning about Tom Felton and his experience as Draco Malfoy/a child star was fascinating. I’m a big HP fan, and learned so much about the franchise from his perspective. Audiobook is the way to go with this one since he narrates it!

This confirmed for me that memoirs aren’t really my thing. Still, I enjoyed it. Getting to peek behind the scenes of my favorite childhood series was delightful. Now I may have to reread the books for the billionth time.
This book is a special kind of comforting. Tom’s writing is simple and authentic, like a late night conversation with a close friend.
leaving this one unrated because it feels impossible to do.
This was not the best written thing I've ever read, but it was an interesting read. Hearing Tom's experience about growing up on the Potter movies, the renowned British actors that he got to work with, how different and truly special those people and sets were in comparison to the Hollywood scene in America was really interesting. He also talks about this struggles with substances after coming to America, his experiences with rehab and how it helped him.
The audiobook was lovely, however it does miss the beautiful forward from Emma Watson, which was beautiful but also I think a little bit crucial to the book itself.
