Not for me. Predictable, whiny narrator and motives that felt more like the author sending a message rather than deepen the story.

I usually don’t read thrillers, but I actually really liked this!

I enjoyed "They Never Learn" for the most part, really appreciated the commentary on rape, female rights, autonomy of your body etc., but at times it seemed too unrealistic and a the ending seemed a bit too happy for the dark themes that it explored. I feel like it is the book version of "Promising Young Woman", except that in PYW, there were consequences for the actions that she took in her steps to exact revenge. Which is crazy when there aren't any in this book, mc is kind of a psychopath. Would recommend "Female of the Species" for in-depth character study and motivation, plus more realistic outcome in the ending.
