Meh. Stupid errors like "vile" instead of "vial" and "Frank L. Baum" instead of "L. Frank Baum" (seriously?!?) distracted me.

The other off-putting thing was the obvious Christian imagery (angels? the voice of G-d? the literal deus ex machina AT THE BEGINNING of the book?) - but if ignored/treated as any shapeless fantasy religion it wasn't too bad.

On the other hand, I read through to the end and enjoyed it as completely brainless fare, which everyone needs once in a while.

I really enjoyed this series and it had a satisfying ending. I have grown to love the characters and the authors didn't take the easy way out with some events. It also helps that I share a name with one of the main characters. If you are looking for something with magic, adventure, action, romance, and history I recommend this series.

It's a good conclusion. I wish there was a bit more epilogue, but the climax was great.

Forever Doon was the final book of the Doon Series and having left the series for a year and a bit (I think almost two) to wait for this novel to come out, I have to say it seemed to be a fitting end. There wasn't anything miraculous about it - the writing was good, beautifully crafted and just seemed the type of novel I wanted to read, something light but not too fluffy or cliche. It follows the adventure of Veronica and her best friend Reid as well as the loves of their lives and it made me happy. Certainly, in the near future, I hope there is a spin off novel! But for now, it is a lovely ending to the book!

I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book. One of the best series I've read. All the characters really grew on me, and I loved their wit, humor, and sarcasm. The only weak character was the evil witch because she lacked depth, but that didn't bother me too much, since she doesn't talk a lot. 4 stars for the book, 5 stars for the entire series.

A fitting end to the series, especially when considering how much Veronica and Mackenna have grown from who they were in the first two books.

There are no words for the perfectness of my feelings for these characters and this story and there just is nothing I love more than a story that ends wonderfully. Vee and Kenna remind me of me and my bestie in so many ways it's crazy, (btw still waiting for our callings but you know) I can't think the bae enough for making me read these books. This series has officially made its way into my top three series of all time and that's saying something.

HOLY CRAP. Trying to collect myself after the end of one of my all time favorite series. I have to say this wasn't my favorite ending to a series- I KNOW. I'm not saying it was bad in any way (check out that 5 star rating) it's just not what I was expecting! I'm gonna get a little spoilery here. I wish we had a little more of an epilogue (Jamie/Vee wedding, future kids etc.) but I am SO GLAD a new covenant was put into place. I was really panicked when they were breaking the old one like no no that won't work we need to be secret from the world. So I'm glad that worked out. I totally knew Fiona was pregnant I called that from the beginning. (I'm just proud of myself) Okay I'm rambling now. Carey and/or Lorie if you're reading this, THANK YOU! Thanks for writing one of the best series I've ever read (and will reread for the rest of my life) I loved the journey and I'm honored I got to spend some time in Doon.
