What an amazing start to the series! I love Katee Roberts writing style, and the books she writes. I loved the setting of Sabine Valley and the different traditions and rules they have and how everyone respects them no matter who they are. I loved all three of them in the relationship! I didn't quite understand who the rest of the Brides were and their relationships, but those will obviously be explored in the rest of the series. I also wish that the characters were explored just a bit more (didn't feel like I got to know Abel as much, and not Harlow either), and how the factions work, the politics and the factions relationships with each other. But I still loved this!

I really liked all the characters here. I wish the relationship backstories were better defined before the dub-con at the beginning. But it was a relief to know very quickly that everyone was into it.
I really liked that none of the relationships had worked independently, justifying their desire for a triad. Additionally, I loved that the same-gender members of the couple were bisexual and shared their own relationship — I hate books where there’s more than 2 members in a relationship and someone gets left out in the cold.
