This was a cool read, absolutely on the darker side, with good purpose at its heart. Abel wants to make sure his family is able to safely return to Sabine Valley and that they are in a position where danger won't as easily find them. I appreciate that this one strayed away from a dubious consent. It looked like that might be the case, but they did it in a way where they were sure that everyone wanted to proceed. For sure a fun read!

listen. if you are a wattpad enjoyer or a 30-something year old booktok mom, you’ll love this. there’s definitely sex in here. have at it.

if you don’t fall under either of those categories, don’t read this. the sex scenes fall completely flat, there is little to no description to them, the author is literally just TELLING you they’re having sex. “he put [censored] in [censored] and [censored]. she moaned.” this is how it feels to read it.

and although the plot may seem tempting, the entire books synopsis happens within the first chapter. none of the characters have any depth or personality aside from being edgy, and somehow ninety percent of them are oddly gingers. those who aren’t ginger are bronzed, blonde gods. 

BUT! bi-guy rep is very real. 

i still read it. im still ordering the second one. i have no self respect.

Premise seemed like it was going into the dubious territory, but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't. The way it played out was interesting. It's a pretty steamy book. I'm still not a fan of one of the characters. Anyway, the relationships between the different pairings for all these brothers is intriguing, and sometimes downright hilarious thinking about how they've met their matches. 

The overall plot isn't as interesting as Wicked Beauty, but I'd continue reading just for the drama between the characters.

This book was probably somewhere in the middle of my opinion on Katee Roberts books I’ve read but I liked it overall - did a pretty good job redeeming Eli throughout the book but just felt like it felt pretty long for what it was (or maybe I was just looking for essentially a smut book and didn’t want a book that had as much plot as this had but idk lol)

I wanted so much more plot. The smut was great, really terrific MMF. But it need so much more character development for Harlow and better world building. It could have been a great book.
