This book was mostly enjoyable, but there were some parts that were a slog to get through. Throughout the book there are chapters from other character's perspectives besides just Elizabeth and Darcy, and most of them are not as interesting as our main couple. Especially in the beginning, the characters that are getting these POVs have no obvious connection to the Darcy's, making them seem out of place. Eventually they make sense, but I would have liked to have met some of these characters before getting a POV. 

My main issue with this book, though, is the last part.

In part three, we are given a war novel to read, which I was not expecting and didn't enjoy. I read this book for interactions between Lizzy and Darcy, not for them to be completely separated for 100 pages.

 
If the ending of the book had been as enjoyable as the rest of it this would have gotten a higher rating from me.

I’m not sure how to review this book tbh. I enjoyed being back with P&P characters even if the author did destroy some of them to me. I enjoyed the continuation of their stories even if I really hate how some of them resulted. It’s a romance fanfic written by a woman from Texas, ya know? It absolutely has problems. TLDR: if one of my friends reads this review and is considering reading this book, PLEASE talk to me first. Not sure I recommend it and also I absolutely need to talk to someone about it
