I really like how Nikki's kindness and determination shines through in this book. And we get to learn a bit more about Brandon in this one! And as always, Mackenzie is her usual petty, vicious self.

I listened to the audiobook version at my local library and was laughing and cringing throughout. This series has always been a favorite as Nikki feels like a relatable and yet sometimes over dramatic narrator of her life. The things that go through her head as she works hard to help her friend Brandon were sweet, crazy, and hilarious. This was a great listen / read. I give it 3.5/5

I really liked this one (surprise, surprise) but it took me forever to read. My attempts to get out of a reading slump by reading Dork Diaries is no longer working. Time to go to our last resort- Catching Jordan.
