Such lovely moving illustrations, the text and plot progression is a little esoteric but conveys feelings about color and nature in unique ways.

I liked the art, but the text was all over the place. Not one I would choose as a read aloud.

A story and illustrations brimming with magic, movement, and a message - classic Tamaki.

A gorgeous, stream-of-consciousness trip to a very daydreamy child's mind. Not quite about colors, not quite about seasons, not quite about anything. But the rich colors just draw the reader right in and send them down the rabbit hole.

Wonderful illustrations, intriguing story line about a curious child looking at colors and seasons.

I always love Tamaki's illustrations and text. I can see my previous students in the school library loving this book, and there are a lot of opportunities here for arts-based response projects.
