Unsurprisingly, Picoult has provided a refreshing narrative to a heavy political controversy. While reading, I often found myself sharing thought-provoking quotes to strike deeper conversations with colleagues and friends.

Loved this book be Jodi Picoult. She takes a complicated, timely topic and attacks it from every angle and opinion. She tells the story in reverse, which is unique and keeps you guessing.

Am I the only one that figured out really early on that Beth and Lil were the same person? The only surprise in the ending for me was that Bex was Hugh’s mom. I felt like the epilogue ended abruptly. I’d like to know what happened to all the other characters, not just Wren and her dad in the aftermath.
