We meet Dad, we finish on a really interesting high note chapter 23 (I had a theory that got disproven so great to see not every plot twist is seen coming) and we keep seeing Maika make good or bad choices but always her own. Although I do think sometimes she is way too stubborn for her own good. I'm starting to warm up to Corvin and Tuya is starting to annoy. As always Kippa is the light of my life

 The artwork in this series continues to be beautiful. The story is dark, fast-paced, and complex, which is everything I want in a series, and I absolutely adore Kippa.
