The way I gasped at the end. OMG. Of course this book would end on a cliff hanger lol. It was so good though. I love all things Hades and Persephone, and this book did not disappoint. Dual POV, grumpy sunshine, he falls first, touch her a die, moody, and HOTTT. On to the next one....

I really didn't enjoy this one and probably won't go into the next one. It fell a little flat.

It was okay but nothing wow about it that gripped me enough to go to the next one

I almost DNF this book. It was such a short book that there wasn’t a good flow for the storyline. The conflict wasn’t believable. If you didn’t know the lore behind Persephone and Hades before starting this book then the story development wouldn’t make much sense. There were great ideas to build off with Demeter. All we got was “she was angry and out for blood”. This book was just overall lacking detail. It has potential, but there are many other Hades and Persephone stories out there that are much better.

I got to 50% and had to DNF. This writing style is not for me.

Read as part of Hades & Persephone boxed set.

The premise was interest and Hades fascinating enough that since I had the full boxed set, I kept going after the end of this section. Otherwise, I found Persephone tiresome and regularly TSTL.
