Really enjoyed this. I went into this book mostly blind- I didn't know what it was about, but I knew there wouldn't be a HEA. I found myself occasionally skipping descriptions, and just reading the next bit of dialogue.

I don't know how to feel about this one. 😐 I imagine writing this book was rather controversial and I don't think this is a representation of life for people with disabilities (and maybe Moyes didn't mean it to be one). A strong pet peeve about this book for me, wasn't the topic of assisted death but rather the hypocrisy of Wills logic as he encourages Lou to live life to the fullest. Did this book make me giddy and tear up at the love story, yes, but not with Patrick, he can go fall in love with his running shoes.

Lordy, oh, Lordy, did this hit me in the feels. Once upon a time I'd read something similar by a lady called Megan Hart and I bawled like a baby. In a very similar and at the same time a very different way, this book made me cry a whole lot. All I could think of was how much she loved him and how she wasn't enough, and the kind of weight that would have been.

I know it's a book about choices, and how people have the right to them, regardless of how one may feel about them. But it does pack one hell of a punch.
