I enjoyed getting to know the characters throughout this book and, as per usual, was engrossed by the enemies to lovers trope. I found Olive a bit annoying at times but thought her overthinking was relatable. I also loved the dynamic of her large family, another relatable experience for me! Near the end it felt a bit rushed and I wish there could’ve been more details before jumping into the epilogue. Overall, a fun read/listen.

This was so much fun!! I loved Olive and the way her and Ethan reacted and interacted to and with each other. It was campy, lighthearted, and so cute with excellent banter and tension.

I laughed so hard at so much of what Olive said or did, but also was genuinely upset at the turn and the grand gesture was the perfect balance of rom-com disbelief and just overall squealing. And it pretty much features all your favorite tropes in the best way.

There were parts that were a smidge cringe, but this is definitely one to reread and the perfect beach read… even though it takes place in January.

A super cute, fun romance. I enjoyed seeing Ethan and Olive come together even if their reason for “hating” one another was simplistic and more of a misunderstanding.

This wasn’t my favorite romance, but it was definitely a fun ride.

Dane is a terrible misogynistic villain, and I despise him.

I love an enemies to lovers, especially when there’s a grumpy sunshine element too. These characters are adorable and so is their love story. This book is hilarious. I laughed so loud and long that my husband looked at me like I was nuts. And maybe I am, but still, the book is funny. I loved Love & Other Words and now I love this book, so I’m going to have to check out the rest of the books by this incredibly talented author pair.

the start of the book was perfect and had everything you could ask for, including an enemies to lovers romance.
but i found the ending a bit silly and when
ethan didn’t believe olive about his brother and when she forgave him so easily with the cheesy apology at the end
really screwed my opinion on him.
