this was really cute. a fun, fast read.

Olive, The Bride Ami's twin sister, and Ethan, the grooms brother are the only two people at the wedding who didn't get food poisoning. So, they are the only people who can go on Ami's honeymoon. While they're there they bump into Olive's new boss and Ethan's ex girlfriend and have to pretend like they just got married. The only thing is they hate each other.

I absolutely loved this book. it has taken me so long to read this book because of how hyped up it is but it did not disappoint.

“I think it would have been delusional for me to think I could ever get this lucky.” EXCUSE MEEEE?!??🥺🥺

Conflicted because I really liked the book and everyone's dynamic, but I hated how she took him back because she decided she didn't want to be the cynical person everybody constantly said she was. We didn't even get a real apology from Ethan or Ami after they both degraded her and accused her of lying for saying her opinion and the TRUTH.

The story cute and witty. Found myself laughing a few times. And as a Hispanic girl myself, the family felt so relatable and I loved that. But I genuinely feel like the book could of been a lot shorter and still would of gotten the same point across.

I liked the premise and at first it seemed like a fun read but then the whole “I hate you” storyline got old quick. The whole thing felt so staged for a while that I found the middle quite slow to read. Fortunately the storyline picked up the pace and got quite interesting with the cheating scandal and the misunderstandings that I actually could not put the book down for the last hundred pages. All in all it was okay.
